Suzie Kozikowski February 11, 2007 I would stay in the sport if my teacher were as hard as Coach Moyer. Coach Moyer is just trying to make the girls better by making them work hard. If you strive to be mediocre, you will be a little less than mediocre because no one is perfect. But if you strive to be the best, than you can become higher than mediocre, and just a little lower than the best. I have a teacher like Coach Moyer. She is my dance teacher who I see three times a week out of my five days I go to dance. She is very strict, but she makes my group better all of the time.
Yes I would stay on a sports team that had a coach as hard as coach Moyer. This is because since they are a hard coach, they push the athletes are constantly performing at their best to keep up with their high expectations. This is very good for the team because the athletes are continuously improving at the sport. Also this can be a bad thing because the parents are athletes might think that the coach is pushing them to hard and might quit the sports. Another way it could be bad is if the athlete takes the coaches approach the wrong way.
Yes, I would stay with my sport, even when my coach is very harsh and mean to me. I would do this because if you really loved your sport, then you would not focus on the coach, but on the sport.
I would stay on my team since Coach Mayer is a good coach. He is a good Coach because he is someone that will push you to the extreme and show you how to act outside of the game too. That is exactly what Coach Moyer asks for when you join his team. He asks for greatness on and off the court. That means pushing you non stop and that is what a coach is supposed to do. A coach should give you directions and make you a better person all around not just a one-sided athlete. If you have a coach that is tough but fair and caring, that is a good coach you can learn from.
